TAC077-12 BAUMANS ROAD PEAKHURST - REQUEST FOR LINEMARKING (11/1264)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT traffic and parking lane markings be installed in Baumans Road, Peakhurst subject to availability of funding.

FURTHER THAT Mr Robert Furolo, MP, Member for Lakemba be advised of Council's decision.


TAC078-12 BOND STREET HURSTVILLE - REQUEST FOR PARKING CHANGES (09/438)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT the existing ‘front to kerb’ restriction at the angle parking zone in Bonds Street, Hurstville be removed.

FURTHER THAT the Salvation Army Church's representative be advised of Council's decision.


TAC079-12 BRIDGE STREET, PENSHURST - REQUEST FOR A BUS ZONE (10/963)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT a 20m long Bus Zone be installed along the western side of Bridge Street, south of Forest Road, Hurstville.

FURTHER THAT Punchbowl Bus & Coach Co be advised of Council's decision.


TAC080-12 CLAYTON STREET INTERSECTION WITH BELMORE ROAD, PEAKHURST (T/00722-1)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT the statutory 10m "NO STOPPING" restrictions be signposted on all legs of the intersection of Clayton Street and Belmore Road, Peakhurst.

THAT the Law Enforcement Officers of Hurstville City Council be advised of Council's decision.

FURTHER THAT the resident be advised of Council's decision.


TAC081-12 FOREST ROAD, LUGARNO - ROAD SAFETY CONCERNS (12/541)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT a comprehensive traffic survey be carried out in the vicinity of 965 Forest Road, Lugarno to establish the current traffic situation at the subject location.

THAT a ‘Concealed Driveway Ahead’ warning sign be installed on the eastern side of Forest Road just before the bend at 965 Forest Road, Lugarno.

FURTHER THAT the resident be advised of Council's decision.


TAC082-12 ROBERTS AVENUE, MORTDALE - ELECTRONIC E-WASTE COLLECTION (11/8)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT a temporary "No Parking" restriction be installed along the northern side of Roberts Avenue, Peakhurst for Saturday 23rd June 2012 and Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012 for the E-Waste Collection Day.

THAT after the event the ‘No Parking’ restriction be removed from the northern side of Roberts Avenue, Peakhurst and the parking along Roberts Avenue be reinstated back to its original state.

FURTHER THAT the Waste Services Project Officer be advised of Council's decision.


TAC083-12 MORGAN STREET, KINGSGROVE - PROPOSED PEDESTRIAN REFUGE ISLAND (10/757)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT this proposed pedestrian refuge in Morgan Street near Kingsgrove Community Centre be deferred to examine the possibility of relocating the existing Bus Zone further west along Morgan Street to allow for the refuge island to be installed outside the community centre where the desired pedestrian path is located.

FURTHER THAT Ms Cherie Burton, MP, Member for Kogarah be advised of Council's decision.


TAC084-12 WARRAWEE ROAD, SOUTH OF PONYARA ROAD, BEVERLY HILLS - REQUEST FOR PEDESTRIAN CROSSING (10/898)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT this matter be deferred.

FURTHER THAT the resident be advised of Council's decision.


TAC085-12 EDGBASTON ROAD AND MELVIN STREET, BEVERLY HILLS - REQUEST FOR TRAFFIC CALMING DEVICE (11/621)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT double centrelines be installed on Melvin Street at Edgbaston Road, Beverly Hills.

THAT the Roads and Maritime Service be requested to review the phasing of the traffic lights at the intersection of Edgbaston Road and King Georges Road, Beverly Hills.

FURTHER THAT the resident be advised of Councils decision.


TAC086-12 WARWICK STREET, HURSTVILLE - ROAD SAFETY CONCERNS (09/581)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT this matter be referred to the RMS requesting to install 50 km/h speed limit signs in Warwick Street at the intersection of King Georges Road, Hurstville to reinforce the existing speed limit in Warwick Street.

THAT the residents of Warwick Street, Hurstville be consulted proposing to install a raised threshold in Warwick Street at the King Georges Road end, Hurstville.

FURTHER THAT the resident be advised of Councils decision.


TAC087-12 NORFOLK ROAD INTERSECTION WITH KING GEORGES ROAD, BEVERLY HILLS - ROAD SAFETY CONCERNS (05/861)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT request for additional parking restrictions on the southern side Norfolk Road, Beverly Hills be denied.

FURTHER THAT the resident be notified of Council’s decision.

Committee's Recommendation

THAT the request for a traffic Calming device in Rona Street Peakhurst be denied.

FURTHER THAT Mr Mark Coure, MP, Member for Oatley be advised of Council's decision.


TAC089-12 BARRY AVENUE, PEAKHURST - REQUEST FOR A LOAD LIMIT RESTRICTION (12/59)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT the request for a load limit restriction in Barry Avenue, Mortdale be denied.

FURTHER that the resident be advised of Council's decision.


TAC090A-12 MASHMAN AVENUE WEST OF COLVIN AVE, KINGSGROVE – REQUEST FOR NO PARKING (06/1692)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT a 6m long No Parking restriction be installed in Mashman Avenue west of Colvin Avenue, Kingsgrove.


TAC091A-12 QUEENS ROAD, HURSTVILLE - REQUEST FOR A PICK UP AND DROP OFF AREA OUTSIDE HURSTVILLE LIBRARY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (11/222)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT the request for a drop off and pick up area for people with disabilities in Queens Road, Hurstville outside Hurstville Library be denied.

FURTHER THAT Uniting Care be advised of Council's decision.


TAC092A-12 BOUNDARY AND BOND ROAD LINEMARKING FUNDED BY ROAD AND MARITIME SERVICES. (12/1154)
Committee's Recommendation

THAT Council accepts the funding offer of $23,450.00 from the RMS for lane linemarking along the entire length of Boundary Road and Bonds Road that falls within Hurstville Local government Area.
