It should be noted that if Council resolves to alter its meeting structure following a review of the Code of Meeting Practice at its meeting on 28 September 2011 a further report will need to be submitted to Council. AUTHOR RECOMMENDATIONTHAT the procedures and policies for Council and Standing Committee Meetings as outlined in the report be confirmed.REPORT DETAILSWhilst meeting procedure is, in the main, set out under the provisions of the Act and Regulations and the Code of Meeting Practice, it is desirable that Council annually review procedures fixed by Resolutions. It should be noted that Council on 28 September will consider a new draft Code of Meeting Practice.
