REASON FOR REPORTTo report on the exhibition of a draft LEP proposing to rezone 442 and 444 King Georges Road, Beverly Hills from the Residential Zone to the 3(c) Business Centre Zone, under Hurstville Local Environmental Plan 1994.
DOES AN EXISTING POLICY COVER THIS MATTER?Hurstville LEP 1994 currently applies to the site.
IF “NO” SHOULD A POLICY BE DEVELOPEDThis report recommends that the land should be rezoned.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS & PRECIS OF COMMENTS FROM DM-B&FSN/A
PRECIS OF RECOMMENDATIONThat Council resolve to proceed with the draft plan and forward the Section 69 report to the Minister.
(a) No submissions were received.
(b) A public hearing was not required under the Local Government Act 1993.
(c) No alterations were made to the draft LEP in response to public exhibition. It should be noted that Parliamentary Counsel has made no changes to the draft LEP.
(d) (ii) All relevant State Environmental Planning Policies, Regional Environmental Plans and directions have been considered.(iii) The draft LEP is consistent with all relevant instruments and directions referred to in subparagraph (ii).
