Hereunder is my report No. to be submitted to the FINANCE Committee:-


01.01 STAFF MATTERS (SEE ITEM 01.01 - GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT NO.2 TO FINANCE COMMITTEE)

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10(2) of the Local Government Act, 1993 IT IS RECOMMENDED that the Committee resolve under the terms of Section 10(2) of the Local Government Act, 1993 that for the reason that the Staff Matters in question will impinge on the privacy of the Staff Members concerned, the press and the public be excluded from that part of the Finance Committee Meeting at which this matter is considered. That, in accordance with the provisions of Section 11(2) of the Local Government Act, 1993, the reports and correspondence relating to this matter be withheld from the press and the public.
IT IS FURTHER RECOMMENDED that the matter be referred to the Council for consideration in Committee of the Whole.

THAT the Divisional Manager's recommendation be adopted.

1.2 NEXT ISSUE OF "COUNCIL COMMENT"

COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the draft material be amended in accordance with the suggestions of the Committee Members and, as amended, be approved for inclusion in the June issue of "Council Comment".
