Community Development and Services Advisory - 01 November 2017

Recommendation
That the Minutes of the Community Development and Services
Advisory held on 1 November 2017 , as previously made available to each
Councillor, be adopted with one variation. Joanne Jarvis, Acting Georges
River Colleges Director and GRC Principal was invited to attend the committee
and was unavailable to participate. Ms Julie Ross, Principal Kogarah High
School has agreed to participate in her place.

Recommendation
(a) That
the Committee receives and notes the Calendar of Community Development Events
report.
(b) That
the Committee provides feedback to Council officers on any projects that may
be in development for further consideration.
(c) That
the Committee provides feedback on the suitability and amenity of the
calendar as a means of promoting Council’s Community Development
initiatives.
(d)
That Council officers distribute additional information to the Committee
regarding Neighbour Day events, for distribution amongst their networks.
