Recommendation

That an 18m ‘Bus Zone’ with a statutory 10m “No Stopping” zone be installed on the western side of Kyle Parade, Connells Point at the intersection of Terry Street, at shown on plan TC1893 attached to the report.

Recommendation

That a 20m ‘Bus Zone’ with accompanying statutory ‘No Stopping’ zone be installed on the western side of Wright Street, corner of Bristol Road Hurstville, as shown on plan TC1912 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC049-19       Hurstville Road, Oatley and Hillcrest Avenue, Hurstville Grove - Request to Formalise Existing Bus Stops

Recommendation

That the existing six ‘Bus Stops’ in Hurstville Road, Oatley and Hillcrest Avenue, Hurstville Grove be formalised into ‘Bus Zones’ or ‘Bus Zone, Mon – Sat’ with accompanying ‘No Stopping’ zones where applicable, as shown on plan TC1909 sheets 1 – 4 attached to the report.

That the attached “Traffic Management Plan – Belgrave Street, Kogarah” dated 19/3/19 by Optimus Traffic Management Pty Ltd, for the Georges River Council Night Markets Event on Friday 3rd May 2019 from 10am to 12 midnight, be approved.

That the 3 Month Action Plan proposed by Council’s Road Safety Officer for April – June 2019 be adopted.

 

 

TAC053-19       Mimosa Street, Oatley - Proposed "No Stopping" lines

Recommendation

That unbroken yellow “No Stopping” lines be painted at the intersection of Mimosa Street, Yarran Road and Waratah Street, Oatley as shown on plan TC1911 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC054-19       Roberts Avenue, Mortdale - Proposed Line Marking and Signage

(Report by Coordinator Traffic & Transport)

Recommendation

(a)     That the statutory 10m “No Stopping” signs be installed at the intersection of Roberts Avenue and Bowman Street.

(b)     That a “Give Way” sign and associated line marking be installed in Roberts Avenue at the intersections of Beatty Street and Bowman Street.

(c)     That a 100m edge line be installed 2.5m from the face of the southern kerb of Roberts Avenue, between Beatty Street and Bowman Street.

(d)     That the existing faded centre line markings in Roberts Avenue, between the pedestrian refuge near Bowman Street and the roundabout at Mortdale Plaza, be repainted, as shown on plan TC1919 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC055-19       St Elmo Parade, Kingsgrove - Proposed Island Removal

Recommendation

(a)     That the landscaped island on the eastern side of St Elmo Parade, Kingsgrove at the raised threshold be removed.

(b)     That a 20m “Give Way” line and associated signage be installed at the intersection of St Elmo Parade and Stoney Creek Road.

(c)     That a 20m BB Centreline be installed on St Elmo Parade between Stoney Creek Road and the existing raised threshold. Also that a 10m BB centreline be installed on St Elmo Parade on the northern side of raised threshold.

(d)     That a 10m unbroken lane line (L3) be installed on St Elmo Parade at the intersection of Stoney Creek Road with directional arrows.

(e)     That the existing “No Stopping” zone on the eastern side of St Elmo Parade, be extended 10m north, as shown on plan TC1921 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC056-19       O'Keefes Lane, Kogarah - Proposed Changes to "No Parking" Zone

Recommendation

That the existing 10m “No Parking” zone on the eastern side of O’Keefes Lane, Kogarah, be converted to “No Parking, Emergency Vehicles Excepted” as shown on plan TC1920 attached to the report.

Recommendation

That this report be deferred for consideration at a future Traffic Advisory Committee meeting.

 

TAC058-19       Homedale Crescent and Rowe Street, Connells Point - Proposed "Stop" sign and linemarking

Recommendation

That the existing “Give Way” linemarking and signage on Homedale Crescent and Rowe Street, at the intersection of Greenacre Road, South Hurstville, be upgraded to a “STOP” line and signage, as shown on the plan TC1922 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC059-19       Car Share - Creating a policy for Georges River Council LGA

Recommendation

(a) THAT Georges River Council creates a car share parking policy to operate in Georges River Local Government Area.

(b) THAT the car share parking policy be brought back to a future Traffic Committee meeting for the committee to review and comment before a final version is adopted by Council.

 

 

TAC060-19       Roberts Avenue, Mortdale - Removal of "Disabled Parking" Zone

Recommendation

That the “Disabled Parking” zone in Roberts Avenue, west of Barr Street, outside property No. 11 Roberts Avenue, Mortdale be removed.

 

 

 

 

TAC061-19       Woronora Parade, Oatley - Proposed 'Disabled Only Parking' Zone adjacent Mortdale-Oatley Baptist Church

Recommendation

That 2 unrestricted car parking spaces in Woronora Parade, Oatley, adjacent Mortdale-Oatley Baptist Church be converted to a “Disabled Only Parking” zone to accommodate 1 Disabled Car Parking Space and 1 Shared Zone, as shown on plan TC1906.

 

 

TAC062-19       Carysfort Street, Hurstville - Proposed 'No Parking, Motorcylces Excepted' Zone

Recommendation

(a)     That a 4m “No Parking, Motorcycles Excepted” zone be installed on the eastern side of Carysfort Street, Hurstville, adjacent to houses 10a and 12.

(b)     That the statutory 10m “No Stopping” zone be sign posted on both sides of Australia Avenue, at the corners of Carysfort Street, as shown on plan TC1917 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC063-19       Kitchener Street, Oatley - Proposed Bi-Directional Line Marking

Recommendation

That bi-directional line marking (arrows) be installed on the southern section of Kitchener Street, Oatley, as shown on plan TC1910 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC064-19       Webb Street, Riverwood - Proposed Timed "No Parking" zone

Recommendation

a) That 12m of the existing “No Parking” zone on the northern side of Webb Street, west of Belmore Road, Riverwood, be converted to “No Stopping, 6.30am – 9.30am, Mon – Fri” with supplementary “No Parking, All Other Times” zone.

 

b) That 14m of the existing “2P, 8.30am – 6.00pm, Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 12.30pm, Sat” zone on the northern side of Webb Street, west of Belmore Road, Riverwood, be converted to “No Stopping, 6.30am – 9.30am, Mon – Fri” with supplementary “2P, 9.30am – 6.00pm, Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 12.30pm, Sat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TAC065-19       Mavis Avenue, Peakhurst - Proposed 'No Stopping' Zone Extension

Recommendation

That the existing ‘No Stopping’ zone on the eastern side of Mavis Avenue, corner of Forest Road, Peakhurst be extended 4m south of its current location, as shown on plan TC1913 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC066-19       Belmore Road, Peakhurst - Proposed 'No Stopping' Zone

Recommendation

That a 66m “No Stopping” zone be installed on the western side of Belmore Road, Peakhurst, on approach and departure to the roundabout, as shown on plan TC1907 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC067-19       Oatley Parade, Oatley - Proposed "No Stopping" zone extensions

Recommendation

That the existing “No Stopping” zone on the eastern side of Oatley Parade, north and south of Neville Street, be extended 5m as shown on plan TC1914 attached to the report.

 

 

TAC068-19       Penshurst Street, Beverly Hills - Proposed Changes to Timed Parking

Recommendation

(a)     That the existing “Mail Zone” on the eastern side of Penshurst Street, be converted to a “1/4P, 8:30am – 5pm Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 12.30pm Sat” zone and “Mail Zone, 5pm – 7pm Mon – Fri”. 

(b)     That the existing “1/2P, 8:30am – 6pm Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 12.30pm Sat” zone on the eastern side of Penshurst Street be converted to “1/4P, 8:30am – 6pm Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 12.30pm Sat” zone, as shown on plan TC1905 attached to the report.
