The meeting commenced at 4.01pm and at the invitation of the Chair, registered speakers were invited to address the panel on the items listed below.

 

The public speakers concluded at 4.50pm and the IHAP Panel proceeded into Closed Session to deliberate the items listed below.

 

3.                GEORGES RIVER INDEPENDENT HEARING AND ASSESSMENT PANEL REPORTS

 

3.1              18 Gover Street Peakhurst

Speaker:

The decision of the Panel was unanimous.

 

Determination:

 

Approval

The Georges River Council IHAP as the delegate of the Georges River Council determines Development Application No. DA2017/0204 for the demolition of existing structures and construction of a four (4) storey boarding house development comprising 27 rooms and basement parking at 18 Gover Street, Peakhurst, by granting consent to the application subject to the conditions recommended in the report submitted to the IHAP meeting of 16 November 2017 except:

 

1.         Under the heading of ‘Ongoing Conditions’ an additional Condition 55A is to be inserted and read as follows:

 

‘55A.   The lift overrun shall not exceed the RL of 40.14 as shown on the approved plans.’

The Georges River Council IHAP as the delegate of the Georges River Council determines Development Application No. MOD2017/0084 for the Section 96 modification to approved dwelling – additional level and internal and external alterations at 731 Princes Highway, Blakehurst, by granting consent to the application subject to the conditions recommended in the report submitted to the IHAP meeting of 16 November 2017 except:

 

1.      An additional Condition 1(b) is to be inserted and read as follows:

 

‘1(b)   The approved building shall not be used for more than one (1) dwelling.’
